You may have noticed the silence from the Two Minute Noodle website these last few months. It was all going so smoothly.

Two Minute Noodle was published on Amazon and Kindle,  sales were taking off, and the word was getting around. Then a storm gathered over my picnic.

I found myself in Accident & Emergency one early summer weekend, a laser beam trying to fix the badly torn retina of my right eye. Successful as a stopgap only, I was soon undergoing a full Vitrectomy in Exeter Eye Hospital. Since then I have been in recovery; six weeks of waiting for a gas bubble to disappear from my eye, before I could join my family in Vietnam for our Summer trip, That’s where I have been for the last five weeks, and even the lack of clear sight in the bad eye has not diminished my appreciation of the beauty and inspiration that this country offers.

So now it is time to write again, hopefully convey some of the beauty that I have seen, albeit in a one-eyed sort of way.
