Hi. Nice to meet you. It was the great writer – Mark Twain, who uttered those words. He was right – to an extent. The hard bit of writing a book, is getting it all down on paper; it doesn’t matter how. When I first wrote Two Minute Noodle in 1995, I hurried it; I had to. I had a mulitude of memories and experiences in scribbled notes, and I wanted to get them out to people, before I lost faith in them.
But now it is time to bring the story up to date – write the prologue and epilogue, and get the original right. I don’t presume it will be perfect, but I will be happier with it. And that’s where I am right now – half way through – reliving those adventures, and rejigging words and apostrophes. It’s not a travel guide – so it is as relevant today as it was at the time, and then some!
The target is to publish the book in January 2013. So, ‘watch this space’ as they say, and hopefully … I will have got it writ.
